Principal responsibilities

Our client has decided to implement a global ERP using SAP on HP platform with Windows 2008 and SQL 2008. This ERP will be hosted in the 2 Entreprise Data Center located in Paris.

The SAP System Architect is the expert of the overall SAP architecture (Hardware, OS, cluster, storage). After the set up done by the vendor, the SAP architect will have :

-          to learn how the SAP platform has been set up to become the expert on the infrastructure environment

-          to validate all changes on the platform

The key Responsibilities will be:

• Design and recommend consistent and appropriate infrastructure and technology solutions
• Implement infrastructure and technology solutions.
• Work with the EMEA architecture team plus the global infrastructure team to define the technical strategy and the selection and implementation of new technologies
• Manage crisis while escalating major incidents to the management quickly and clearly
•  Build an effective relationship with all component of the EMEA infrastructure team

• 8 years experience in IT. Educated to degree level and with a recognised professional qualification
