Principales responsabilités

Our client has decided to implement a global ERP using SAP on HP platform. This ERP will be hosted in the 2 Entreprise Data Center located in Paris. The SAP Project Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and assuring project activities and deliverables of the project are well defined, planned and managed,  and meet the defined project specifications on schedule and on budget.

This individual should have prior experience managing multi-national SAP system implementations, have developed and successfully managed the execution of SOW of an SAP project and must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage both large and small projects and teams, have a thorough understanding of SAP implementations, is able to follow best practices in project management methodology, is able to understand business issues and develop recommendations to business problems, as well as demonstrate competency with IT processes.    

Your essential job functions will be:

Project Management

• Inspect and advise the operational project team on aspects of the  project planning  and scope including: initiation planning, execution, and closing phases to ensure a successful, well executed project.
• Ensure the 100% implementation of the SOW: time and specifications, identify deviations and delays on a weekly basis, report deviations and work with the project team to ensure the project is on track
  
•  Ensures the project work breakdown structure ( WBS) is thorough, complete and elaborated at the appropriate level of detail. 

Project Accounting

• Review and analyze the project budget and  budget to actual spend reports, bill rates and utilization.
• Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
  

Communication

• Meets on a regular basis with the project team.
  
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.

Leadership

• Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.
  
• Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
  
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
  

Teamwork

• Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.
• Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
• Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
  

 

Travel:

 

• This position will involve occasional site visits to clients in various locations.

Profil recherché

Your skills will be:

 

• Experience in managing multi-national projects.
• Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent program or IT experience required
• Professional Project Management Certification preferred.
