Our customer is a global leader in distribution, logistics, technical engineering, and product design with over 30 years of expertise and performance supporting the telecommunications and broadband industry.

With turnover over 1.2 billion EUR worldwide, our customer  supplies and distributes a comprehensive portfolio of passive and active equipment and tools for network deployment, upgrades, and maintenance, and offers a range of value-added services including customer premise equipment refurbishment & repair, outsourced procurement, and logistics solutions for cable and telecom operators, network installers and their subcontractors.

Our customer is creating a new position and looking for a new Marketing & Communication Director, Europe

Your responsibilities

Directly reporting to Managing Director, Europe, you will be in charge of the following activities

  • Increase our customer market share across all geographies & business lines
  1. Set up new lead generation program with the sales team, to attract new customers
  2. Redefine a new communication strategy to help retain existing customers
  3. Help our customer entry into new markets
  4. Promote new product Launches, working closely with the 5 main business lines (Fiber, Wireless, Data Center,                Test & Measurement, Tools and Consumable)
  • Reinforce brand awareness within our ecosystem (service providers, service integrators, equipment vendors)
  • Ensure the best customer experience on the new-coming e-commerce platform to facilitate B2B e-shopping, in cooperation with product owner and external partners
  • Structure, hire & manage your own marketing & communication team, making sure common tools, practices and roadmap are aligned throughout Europe

In addition, you are a major stakeholder on the following subjects:

  • Internal communication to reinforce engagement, liaising with Human Resources department
  • Selection & implementation of a CRM system for the Group, together with Sales & IT department

 

Your profile

In order to succeed in this position, the following competencies are required:

  • A proven experience (10 years+) in marketing & communications, in particular in telecom ecosystem
  • Excellent managerial skills, ability to build a successful team across Europe
  • Pragmatic & Energetic, hands-on mentality is absolutely mandatory to be compatible with company culture
  • An exposure to international environment is key, excellent English is required
