Our client is an international technology services company specialising in software engineering, digital transformation, and product development. The organisation supports enterprises in delivering modern, scalable digital and data solutions across multiple industries. With a strong focus on quality and innovation, it partners with clients to accelerate their transformation through Agile and cloud-based delivery models. As part of its continued growth, our client is currently recruiting a Delivery Director to strengthen its organization (job based in Paris).

Main missions

The Delivery Director is responsible for driving growth, performance, and excellence within the Delivery function across the French region. This includes overseeing AI, Applications, and Data engagement, ensuring successful outcomes for all projects and alignment with organisational strategy.

Success Metrics

  • Achieve strong client satisfaction scores (cNPS) aligned with targets.
  • Maintain agreed billable utilisation rates for Front Office team members.
  • Drive strong employee engagement and satisfaction scores (eNPS).

Delivery Management

  • Create and execute the regional Delivery strategy in line with the overall delivery strategy.
  • Ensure consistent application of quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Presales, and Client Success teams to support regional growth.
  • Drive adoption of corporate delivery processes and tools across engagements.
  • Lead strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Provide reporting and escalation management to the Chief Delivery Officer.

Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong senior client relationships.
  • Lead regular face-to-face executive meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery teams remain focused on client business outcomes.
  • Support senior leadership in defining client relationship strategies
  • Oversee hypercare implementation and communicate improvement plans clearly.
  • Participate in service reviews and act as the third escalation point for client issues

People Management

  • Mentor and coach Portfolio Directors
  • Support recruitment and selection for senior delivery roles.
  • Manage performance, set SMART objectives/OKRs, and promote best practices (Agile and modern delivery methods).

Commercial & Business Contribution

  • Ensure accuracy of delivery estimates for regional engagements.
  • Align services sold with standard offering frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Finance on pricing, upselling, and renewals.
  • Support pre-sales activities, proposals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify growth opportunities in collaboration with delivery and client teams.

 Risk, Reporting & Governance

  • Ensure consistent risk management across projects and portfolios.
  • Drive timely implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Maintain high-quality reporting standards (audits, onboarding, NPS, status reporting).
  • Identify and resolve high-risk projects using performance metrics.

Continuous Improvement

  • Improve contractual compliance, process quality, customer satisfaction, and resource optimisation.

Candidate Profile

  • 2+ years’ experience in a related role e.g. as a Head of Agile and minimum 3 years working experience as a Portfolio Director (or equivalent) in an IT capacity.
  • Business-level proficiency in English and French.
  • Inspirational and strategic leadership capability.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • High level of autonomy and execution capability.

  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Proven experience in delivery governance across Agile, Product, and Waterfall environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Experience managing large, complex IT project portfolios.
