Our client is a global logistics company.

We are looking for a practiced programme manager with experience in managing projects and programmes in a fast-paced environment across multiple geographies, topics and teams. The ideal candidate will have HR experience in transformation projects focusing on a game changing employee experience, with the ability to understand the technical details where required. They will be a good communicator, responsible for Change Management and communications, including keeping a variety of internal and external stakeholders informed and on track.

Specifically, this role is required to implement a fit for the future HR target operating model within European Division. This will primarily look at the Hire to Retire HR processes empowered by the relevant HRIS employee system. This employee system (SuccessFactors) requires updating with much increased functionality integrating with relevant satellite systems i.e. Time & Attendance, Payroll.

Stakeholders: This role will be managing project/program deliverables in a matrix organisation liaising with Heads of Departments across HR, in country teams and COEs as well as SMEs to agreed appropriate priorities. This also includes the implementation partner chosen to deliver the identified design.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Management

  • Governance: Put the appropriate project structure in place and lead relevant workstream meetings, team meetings and steering committee meetings
  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure good two-way communication inside and outside the project to include all stakeholders
  • People Impact: Be a change champion, focusing on employee experience, Change Management, process understanding, communications, training and adoption for both wired and non-wired employees
  • Ensure alignment back to the original scope, objectives and deliverables
  • Lead project deployments as required: managing and delivering plans, including inter-dependencies with other projects
  • Team leadership: Lead the project team, both dedicated, non-dedicated and third-party resources
  • Issue and Risk Management: Risk and Issue identification, measurement, mitigation and appropriate escalation
  • Service Management: Ensure handover to HR Service teams, clean project closure, good documentation of lessons learnt and transferring any remaining deliverables into BAU CI ownership

Finance

  • Budgeting: keep track of budgets, supplier deliverables and invoices and ensure alignment back to the original financials and business value

Project Reporting

  • Prepare regular status reporting, detailed and summarised for regular distribution to stakeholders, focusing on business value and people change impacts
  • Overall risk management, providing visibility to the stakeholders
  • Integrated Planning highlighting interdependencies
  • Ensure methodologies, methods, tools and techniques are applied, understood by the project team and adhered to.
  • Resourcing: Forecast and keep track of resources
  • Introduce various elements of People Change Management to the project teams where appropriate and ensure Change Agents are supported

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

Knowledge

  • Knowledge, experience and application of project management methodologies, both waterfall and Agile
  • Knowledge of the use of SAP SuccessFactors, Service Now, payroll and other HR systems
  • Understanding of the workings of international organisations
  • Understanding of HR rules, regulations and compliance
  • Business understanding and commercial acumen
  • Extensive knowledge of working with Implementation Partners (SI Partners)
  • Understanding of large organisation system architectures

Experience

  • Extensive Project Management experience, applying different methodologies, esp. Agile
  • Experience in international and cultural transformational HR and payroll projects
  • Experience in Change Management and adoption an advantage
